well, got the new fuel injectors installed today. now it doesnt sound like a blast. sounds like a x1. but, it seems like somethings off. i cant put my finger on it. But what i do know, is if i pull the rear plug wire, the bike idle changes a little, not as smooth, but keeps running. and if i pull the front plug wire, the bike dies immediately. why is that? it can run on the front cylinder but not just the back?

also, the front plug wire goes to the front coil terminal correct?

im taking it to hd tomorrow to reset the tps. hopefully that helps.

well, i started it this morning, held the throttle so it would idle. got her warmed up and off i went! first 5 miles were a little rough. but after that she got good and warm, and settled down a bit. still ran differant, but bearable.

Then i made it to the hd dealership. I replaced the intake gaskets and that fixed the air leak! so the bikes TPS could be reset. Got on the bike, noticed 100000% change immediately. started at the secend the starter engaged. then, revved smooth and idled down great. Got on the street, opened her up and carried the front wheel through first gear, and then hit second and the front wheel left the ground again!!! Its a totally different bike now!! Race ECM+TPS RESET= MUCHO MORE HORSEPOWER!!!

im so excited i want to go outside and hump my bike. Except that the cylinder base gaskets are leaking. but they can wait until winter when the bike gets torn down. it runs correctly now and im stoked!!

Things i did this week to the x1..

NEW FUEL INJECTORS
NEW PLUGS
NEW PILOT POWER TIRES
RACE ECM
TPS RESET
INTAKE MANIFOLD SEALS
FRONT EXHAUST MOUNT RUBBER GROMMET (I have 4 more sitting in my garage, hehe)

finally its running correctly.
im sending the extra rear shock out to aftershocks this week so that will be done too.
