Tom from EFB design contacted me by phone today about my order for parts for the upcoming RS1200 resto... Super nice Guy, very knowledgable and helpfull, and Damn if I didnt forget to ask him about the fuel tanks inards....Oh well Next time..or COURT, Your expertise view on the subject? Anyhow, He's fixing me up and I will be good ta go! An outsourcer.   Smoke Posted on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 - 07:19 pm:        got a phone #? thx, tim(92RS)   Onahog Posted on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 - 09:58 am:        Try Tom @ 262-642-2020   Hotrats Posted on Thursday, May 15, 2008 - 07:13 am:        hankb- when i flew to denver and picked up my rs for the ride to nc, i could see 'some' flaking inside the tank. by the time i had arrived in nc the tank was leaking/weeping gas through on the right side. did not bubble up the paint though. appeared to be a fiberglass end that lost the liner coating and was wicking gas through tank wall. i purchased a epoxy type liner kit, fairly painless to install (easier than the old kreem style). hard part was to get old liner out. put chain, nuts, bolts, rocks inside & shook to no end. got alot out, but could not get all. almost 1 year later, and all seems ok. hth andyh   Onahog Posted on Thursday, May 15, 2008 - 09:17 am:        Andy...What was the type,brand, epoxy liner ya used? My unit is actually being delivered for me this wknd...I got a chance to have it brought safely home by truck instead of trying to ride it 1300 miles without being able to really go over it first... I got the tank sealer kit you recommended... My original sealer is in very good shape still, so, I guess I skip all the other stuff and just put the new sealer in eh? It states its for fiberglass...I best read the info on it first...What all did you do other than the shake / rattle and roll ? Hb
