Any suggestion on how to get them loosened. Already broke two allen sockets and bolts don't show any signs of moving even after using impact gun (air). Rear rotor still has factory "inspection paint" on bolts. Thanks!

Try heating them and/or penetrating oil and then an impact driver or gun might do the trick.

Also - and it sounds stupid, but you'll have to trust me - try to *tighten* them just a bit. Usually that will help break them loose, and by doing it that way any tool-to-bolt wiggle isn't going against your efforts to remove the bolts (rounding them out in the loosen direction). Once you get that lovely little "tink" of them popping free, go back to lefty-loosey.

Get yourself a brass drift and smack each one with a bit of force.
I had to do that to get my front one off.
They use some sort of threadlocker.

I'm with you Rabert, fortunately my tire guy didn't need them taken off to get the tire on or I'd be in the same boat. I broke an allen wrench and called him and said, "It ain't happenin'".

Weld a nut to them and use an impact wrench. The heat from the welding and the impact wrench will remove them.

Sometimes the other methods mentioned will work, sometimes they won't. This way always does.

Hmm a bolt on a Buell that won't untight?
Sounds surreal..

I have to tighten all the bolts on my bike regularly!

Heat and a "bit of a tap" will do the trick. You may break parts so do it right the first time. BR.

Thanks all. The heat was going to be my next trick. I didn't think about tightening them then loosen. Its good to have an active forum. Thanks again.

Ball Pein Hammer and a Brass Drift.

One or two dead smacks to the bolt.

Thats what I had to do for the front rotor bolts.

Thats the trick alright.. once you get the technique down, it will work every time...

http://mototuneusa.com/allen_bolt_nightmare.htm

This is an old website that isn't updated but it worked for me in the past. Obviously won't work if the bolt has a flat top. I don't recall if it is or not.
