I have read that guys are gutting the inside of the B/B, installing a round air filter on the inside tube and their was a post about installing an XB air filter in the B/B. So what works? Pics wound be great!

If American Sport Bike has any of their Hi-Flow air filters left, I'd go that route. The Hi-Flow is (was) made by Wink Eller, the Land Speed record holder and speed shop owner in Temecula, Ca. It fits inside the stock airbox, flows with less air restriction than a K&N, is washable and you keep the advantages of the Helmholz resonator to keep noise down and still retain low end grunt.
