I finally bought a new housing for my RS, so I could run a H4 bulb. It works much better. I'll probably go to HID soon.

Why, Yes I would.

Let me know what you want for it and I will get the funds headed in your direction.

I picked up a couple cool little chrome driving lights last month. Have them mounted on the RS, The unknowing would never know that they were not a stock item. I will get a pic or two tomorrow. Used the fairing stay pinch bolts to hang them. Tucked up into the natural curve of the fairing. From the sides they just blend in.

I uprated my X1 headlight using two relays to get power direct from the battery to the light. Makes a big difference to headlight output. Any auto electrician should be able to put you on the right road.

Rich, would you please post what exactly you purchased to upgrade to H4 on the RS? I would really like to copy that also... Looks great!
Thanks!

Bryan, the lights look great! I'll ship the thing off to ya, Monday or Tuesday.

Buelltours, they come in a set of two, the store people can't order them(I tried, had the part # and all), you have to get them on the net.

Those tiny little halogens toss some light out front. The left is aimed dead ahead. The right is aimed slightly right for those dark two lanes.

Not bad for a cheap set ($15) from wally world.

What I did so far was change out the plastic housing on my S3 to one off of a Kawasaki atv. Had to make 2 small brackets from angle steel. Helped take away the "yellow plastic" quality of the light. Planning on doing the relay thing next. You can get relays at Radio Shack for about $5 each.

I put the Hella H4 upgrade kit in my S2 from Summitracing.com. I had to trim the headlight housing a bit to accomodate the connector, but no changes to the wiring on the bike. Light pattern is E-code - MUCH better than the crappy sealed beam pattern, and it has a replaceable bulb so I can update to superwhite later if I want.
