I installed the 45 lo speed jet and want to do the 2 and a half turns thing but not sure where the screw is. I see two frost plus thingies, one on each side of the carb(upper) but Im thinkin that aint them. I know you have to DRILL somthing and I thought Id better know what to drill...heh...any help appreciated...

It's in the bottom of the carb. If you check the KV I'm sure there's a link...or you can try here, I think there's a pic:

I've been thinking about getting a couple of his nifty-difty adjuster handle screw thingys. Beats trying to stuff a small screwdriver between a carburetor and a hot header pipe, LOL.

Ya! I seen them screws on the link. Sounds like a little tweekin is the norm so a screw like that might take the ouch outta the process. Or cut the tips of the fingers on a cheapass pair of gloves when you are tweekin....the uptown screw is better....did I just say that??

Most of us closed it to a light stop and then opened it 2-1/2 turns and left it there. Mine was running so good that I was afraid to mess with it.

I made a half hearted attempt to get at it one time and gave up after a couple of burns. And that was with a TIG welding glove on.

I'm getting ready to do the same mod on the CV-40 on my Dyna. It is pretty cold blooded and slow to warm up, I'll get it helps with that.
