OK so some punk ass neighbour sabotaged my bike last night by stealing the right side bolts of the chin fairing.. They are long ones, can't make out what kind they are. Anyone knows? I need to go buy new ones asap, preferrably today! =) | ||

DAMN, that F'ing blows... Are the spacers still in there? or floating around.... EDIT: Just saw the video.. you only need the bolts... I will ge tthe length in a bit, I dont know if I can get the pitch and stuff though... well, yes I can... If you can wait for a little while(getting ready to hit the gym), I will pull one, and head to the H/W store, to match it, and get you a length, pitch, etc... Okay, Bolts are SAE 5/16-18 @1.25 inches back of head to tip. Allen head as well.. you will also need a washer to go inbetween the bolt head, and the fairing. Chase | ||

OK thanks a lot! Not that I understand it though ;) I am used to centimetres. What is SAE? American standard? 1.25 inches sounds faaaaaaaar too short though. On left side they are that short but on right side hole looks more like 4inch deep or so.. | ||

thats 32mm and yeah, SAE is the american standard.. .not so much anymore... BUT... Thats the lenth of the bolt I pulled out of my X1 As a matter of fact, the ones on the LEFT side are LONG, about 4 times longer... Chase | ||

I have a carbon fiber chin spoiler that had ovaled out holes so I used auto shock absorber rubber bushings (cut down thinner) and washers. I haven't had any problems and no rattles  Don't forget the loc-tite!!! | ||
