I w/ think engine parts w/ be available individually. The Blast only has 1 cyl and I can't see Buell making them purchase parts in pairs.

Cams are only available as a set. 25195-00YB is the set for a 2001 X1 (that's the first diagram I opened, don't know if it's your year or not). $398/set.

Pistons are sold with rings, individually.

Cylinders are sold indvidually. Typically there is machine work involved in matching cylinders to rings and pistons.

Heads are sold individually.

Cams, since they need to "match" not only in valve lift/duration profile but also in gear teeth to each other, are a set. Replace one cam and you risk wiping the teeth on its adjacent mate because of the different (or non-existant on a new cam) wear pattern on the teeth.

Lifters are individual. 18538-99B per lifter. $29.95 each.

Ratbuell is correct. Mix'n match on cams=not cool.

Why not upgrade?

Hey J, I can get you a set of newer style N4s(X1), for about....

200 shipped....

I know they came out of a Rubber mount Sporty.. but.. they should be good to roll if you have the newer pinion...
