Anyone have it? Is it effective? I am changing to a Barnett SS clutch cable and am considering adding the Mueller. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes and yes. I have one on my 03XB and another will be going on my S3 as soon as the garage warms up. A very simple mod that makes a big difference.

Just went through this consideration myself. Check out the "clutchlite" before you go dropping that much $ for the other.

Thanks for the tip Tyler! I searched through all the Badweb threads on Muller, Clutchlite, and Free Spirits Soft Clutch. I didn't know there were multiple options out there, and I'd been holding off on the Muller because of the price. I ended up going with the X-Soft Clutchlite, as it sounds like the design of the Muller and Clutchlite are better than the Soft Clutch (and similar Ebay version).

Yeah the Clutchlite is just like the Muller from the sounds of it, but only replaces the inner ramp w/ different ramp angles instead of the entire assembly.

Definitely don't go Free Spirits. The longer arm is functionally no good. Haven't seen the "eBay version", but anything marketed solely on eBay (with a very few exceptions) I try to stay away from.

I tried to get the X-Soft Clutchlite, but it was backordered until May, so I changed my order to the regular "Soft" model. Shop around for price. I found as much as a $12 difference. Quite a percentage difference on something averaging about $45.

Thanx for the info. wasn't even aware that Clutchlite existed. I will definitely give it a try. With the extra cash I might just add the Baker while I am in there.

The mueller clutch release has worked well on my S2T. Very smooth operation.
