Hi, can someone help me out.

I've scored some extra discs for my WB exhaust.
But the allen bolts are too short.
Anyone know where to get it?
Here they don't have inches bolts of that length.

I can also get long blanco bolts and tap it myself. But then I have to CNC the blanco metric bolts to the inch diameter first.

Thanks.

I don't know if they're the same material / thread pitch, but supertrapp makes longer bolts for their disc mufflers. Maybe they would work? I think the bolt kit is a whopping $12 or so... Let me know, I can run a tap down one of mine and get you the thread pitch and size.

Thanks for the great tip Ratbuell!

I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SuperTrapp-404-7206 -Disc-Screws-SS-4-0-Dia-Set-of-6_W0QQitemZ32022476 2230QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320224762230&_trksid=p 3286.m20.l1116

The length is perfect.
I only need to know the thread size.
If it's not much of a trouble?

Thanks!

// edit:
nevermind Ratbuell, I see that shipping and handling is a total somewhere 140 usd. I go look further in holland. Thanks anyway!

I went to a hardware store and bought some long brass screw. 3" long I think! Might find some stainless if you look around.

I have a WB pipe and a question:

How many discs would you recommend for an S3 with hypercharger and race module?

I am not using any now for sound reasons because I have not had time to experiment!

I think the standard amount is 12 discs.
I also use a hypercharger with 12 discs.
The sound is acceptable, not too loud not too p*ssy.
I once removed all the discs because I thought it would be louder, after a 1 mile ride I went straight home to place the discs back on cuz I felt like riding on a Honda Shadow or something like that. So more discs = more sound.

But it all depents, you have to adjust your carb in the end anyway, no matter how many discs you use.

Chase, I'm going to a large hardware store somewhere next week. If I can't find it there I'll contact you. Thanks!
