I believe M2's with optional PM wheels came delivered with 180/55 Dunlops. The PM wheel is 1/2 inch wider than the stock rear wheel.

The first time I ran a 180 rear on my 1999 M-2, it was in preparation for a trackday that weekend. When I was going through the pit after a session, someone came running over and said my bike was making a weird noise. A rock had stuck to the tire and was dragging on the inner fender every time the wheel turned. So now, if I run a 180, I remove the inner fender.

I run a 190 on mine but had to remove the rear tire fender. It's great for long rides, but not good for taking corners.
