Hey guys Im looking around for a used ventura rack as I dont want to spend 200-350 for a new one,,,but I am considering ordering a new one as a used one could be hard to find. So how is the build quality and how solid is it once set up, does it bolt right up without having to chop anything on the bike? I was thinking of just ordering the sport rack and using my own bags are the ones that come with it really nice. Realisticly I will mostly just be straping my lunch box on there for work, but also occasionally grocery getter, over nighter trips etc. Im just thinking if quality is only so so or questionable Id contemplate building one |

I use a Ventura rack for my S3. It has worked well for years. It fits well on my bike, no issues. |

I've got one on my 2001 M2, and it's well made and solid. Bought mine used and it looked new other than a little sun fading of the bag. No modification required for the installation. The sport rack and bag are great for around town. |

We have the 45 and 10 liter bags for our M2. M2nc has taken several weekend trips with the Ventura bag setup and it's worked great. It's currently riding on the Uly until we replace the hardbags. He's had the Ventura setup for 4 years now and it's still good as new. The 10 liter bag is faded from the sun, but still very functional. We ordered ours from American Sport Bike. |

I just bought a new, old stock rack and bags from ebay a few months ago. I saved quite a bit of $$, but the bags aren't as nice as the new ones which have more pockets, but overall I'm really happy with it. It all seems very well made. |
