2002 X1W

Bought the bike with no miles, new condition last year. It had been in storage since 2002 when the dealership closed down. I bought the bike last year and put about 4000 miles on it. KBB.com says my bike should have about 27100 miles by now. Just trying to figure out what my bike is really worth. Only mods are a carbon fiber undertail, license plate relocator, and a better looking aprilia mirror.

Thanks

Prolly 4-5K in the spring. Less as Summer rolls on.

Some folks might say the X1W is worth more due to being an X1W, but I don't. It's just cosmetic stuff.

That's my guess anyway

Our bikes seem to drop in value quickly but level off at around $4500.
The white lightnings look great but I don't think it makes them actually more valuable.

Could you do me a favor and post a pic of your carbon undertail?

my buddy bought an m2l with 2600 miles on it for 3500 1 1/2 years ago. on the other hand i paid 5500 to get the bike that i wanted to replace the one that got totalled. and some times you get what you pay for and sometimes you don't. i had to put 4k into the bike after the motor went on me this past summer(didn't have the bike the year) my buddy doesn't really like how hard it is to work on his m2 and is thinking about getting rid of it after mbv next month. he's had a few issues but isn't set up to take care of them himself, which drives him mad.

hmm interesting as KBB.com gives my bike a value of $5940 with all those assumed miles.

Chris- If you list it you'll find that you might get $4500 tops for it. KBB seems to be higher than the actual Buell market. I don't really care because mine is not for sale and won't be any time soon.

I agree with Mr Ward..

I just bought a 08 Nightster, as my tuber, while still getting ridden, is becoming more of a novelty/toy/piss off traffic thing.. No real reason, just no real twisties, or anything to realy STRETCH it out down here...

I had it for sale, for a couple months, and even got down the 4500 at one point, but, couldnt even get a bite... and it sure isnt stock, well, the frame and wheels are un molested.. but...thats about it..

Best thing I can tell you, IF you are trying to sell, depending on your area, wait till Aprilish... and list @ the KBB with a Best Reasonable Offer part, and just realize, money talks, b/s walks...
