This thread is pretty much a re-run .... all kinds of threads regarding this last year ... I guess every 6 months things need to be rehashed ...


Buellistic again is right, retard the timing ... I have a selectable curve ignition which does limit the advance on the fuel curve - when I mix in race gas at the track I can set it to full advance, when running pump gas (read - 93 octane still) I may have to dial it back to the 2nd most aggressive curve - which is still a more aggressive curve than stock. Using that ignition I don't have to fiddle with the timing, just flip a switch or two on the ignition module
