I have been looking around for a new set of bars for my 2000 M2. I really want to get the "streetfighter" style bars, really wide and low. I've been looking around and just cant find what I want. Any suggestions? I want something like the ones on this bike... http://www.adrenalinmoto.co.uk/prods/11.html

You can buy a set of LSL A01. The come in different colors and you will not need to lengthen any controls. See my profile pic. You can get them at spiegler here in the US. HTH

I heard years ago that a Ducati Monster handlebar would fit a Manta tanked Buell and still let the switch gear clear the tank. They sure look like the same bend as on the link you posted. You could always take a look at the Crossroads bars... they are very wide (too wide for some) and low, but they are really 'spendy'.

Here you go. Clubman's ,once pressed flat are a really close match to Crossroads @ $30 a pop.

I crashed my poor X1 in May and wanted to get it back operational as soon as possible.
I used some generic dirtbike bars from a japbike dealer for $16.

All I had to do to make it work was grind off the crosstube.
I also tilted them forward a bit to lean me forward a little.

They are wider than the stockers by a few inches and are pretty low.

Anyways, that's my real advice: start cheap, you can afford to make mistakes that way : )

No. That pic is of my track body work , I usually have Manta Ray tank on it. I think it gives 1 1/2 -2" of clearance depending on how you set up your controls and switches.

i used superbike bars on my S3 with the big tank, i had to rotate them slightly forward and adjust all the switchgear appropriately, but they worked great.

Had I known about those particular bars, I wouldn't have gotten the expensive Crossroads for my M2!
