My 97 S3T's front brake rotor is on its last legs. Don't seem too be too many options under $300. So I was wondering what you guys run and how you like it. Thanks JAMES

I bought the wave rotors and love them. I saw on fleabay a rotor that would work. I'll look it up and get back to you.

Okay, item # 200190629939 STOCK, item # 110212214052 STOCK, item # 280190714566 EBC Pro-Lite which is of course your best choice. I have no affiliation with these items just merely pointing them out. Now, with that said, I would call American Sport Bike and talk to Al about the EBC or comparable rotor thats new and unscathed. He will have what you need at a great price. My two cents worth.

I was able to score a newer stock one for mine before they doubled the price. For $300 I would have looked at an aftermarket.

It's not just the Buells that do this. My son's '97 CBR has one of the front rotors that rattles bad. The Honda replacement is $300.

I scored an inexpensive EBC for my S2. VERY impressive, especially considering it was the ONLY change I made. Pads are the same ones I was using on my badly worn stocker. Not worn like thinner-than-spec worn, but bushings worn out and I could clamp the brake and roll the bike nearly 1/2" at a light, worn.

The only thing I don't like about the EBC is it hides too much of the wheel for my tastes. But it works like a champ! Have yet to ride it in the rain though, we'll see if it turns the right side of the white wheel mud brown like my stocker. I suspect it's pad material (brake dust if it was dry out), but I can hope... : )

Another vote for the EBC rotor, based on price and performance. Got mine from American Sport Bike - also highly recommended. Don't forget to order new bolts.
