Anyone out there have a pic of an S2 with a S1/M1/X1 fairing?

Mine took a bit of a bump. It's fixable, i think, but I'm looking at other options.
Early on I thought that it would be cool to run without a fairing but I've never tried it. Anyone out there good with photoshop? Hmm... I wonder what a Firebolt fairing would look like on an S2. Buells are all about being different.

Ratbuell, didn't you strip your S2 down?

Leave it stock.Take the fairing to a body shop with another piece of the black sapphire to match.Non S2 pieces will look like shat.

That's most likely what I'll do.
But I'm still curious to see the other options.
If for no other reason than to get some action back on the S2 board : )

Purple,
I'm converting the front of my S3 into an S1, but retaining the S3 tail, I'll post a few pics when i'm done...
Maybe it'll give you some ideas.
personally, I'm with Nitsebes, it's an S2, keep it looking like an S2...

Is your fairing in real bad shape?

when i got my bike it was a totaled wreck,,
so i took the trashed front frame and wraped a honda vf500f front fairing around it and blended it into the tank rs style.. i was later able to get a replacement fairing and fairing frame and put her back to stock,, these were picks of her before..

After taking off the damaged fairing today, I've decided to try a bikini fairing like the S1/X1/M1.

Curtis,
That just doesn't look right.... I like the looks of the S2 fairing...

I'm starting a repair project today on my S2 fairing and my son's S2 tail section.
I also have a spare front fender I'm going to repair.
I'll document everything with pictures and post a thread when I'm done. It will be a couple of weeks though.

Brad,
I've started a 'glassing thread under the S2 heading. Looking forward to your tutorial.

I've got a crash damaged fairing in the basement I got from someone that will be my test piece if/when I get to that point.
