so, after my last ride my i noticed a drip on the ground under the rear of the rear shock. After further investigation, indeed it is coming from the shock itself, does anyone know if this means i should start looking for a new shock, or is it an easy fix?

Time to get it redone--seal is leaking.Any decent suspension shop should be able to handle it.I use a place called Aftershocks in Palo Alto CA.

Aftershocks does an excellent job. Penske in highly recommended if you want a new shock. Pricey but excellent. They're on the internet.

On an unknown number of shocks supplied by a a vendor, the eyelets were found to be weak.
The vendor didn't keep track of the serial numbers potentially affected by this flaw and BMC decided to just recall them all.

You know, erring on the side of caution?
