Hi guys i need to supply my insurance co. and D.M.V. with proper model name for a lightning i acquired. the Title has N/A in the model field so that wont help. i have seen it described as S1 Lightning and S1W Lightning. this bike is 1998 white frame and pearl white bodywork and i know it's a "White Lightning" it's the S1 vs S1W that i'm confused on. thanks in advance for your answers.......... | ||

I'm pretty sure your bike is the S1W... My buddy a couple blocks over just got one a few months ago... Same year and all! | ||

I've registered my '96 S1 in two states. Neither of them had the proper info in their system. I could have told them the model designation was 'Flugalbinder' and they would have put it in there. | ||

it's a W, RG ran the # and will email you (if he has'nt already), i love the s1w i'm too much of a wuss to do the tail conversion on my m2 though, my seat is way too comfy to switch, and i have a new one coming for x-mas! | ||

Tripp, You're getting a new seat for Christmas too?!?! My GF just bought me one also for my M2! HA! I bought Johns that he was selling in the Classifieds...The Buell aftermarket one with Orange Pegasus' and the Orange piping to match the frame. I'm only going to put that on when I'm showing her off tho..=) | ||
