Does anybody have numbers for alternator output for S3? Looked for my manual and it's probably buried in a box somewhere in storage... and I don't have a service manual.

Looking at Gerbings electric underwear (OK, OK, OK - no "lifestyle" puns, please) - and don't know if my 2001 S3 would have any issues with the power for one or two heated suits.

Slaughter,
I use a complete Widder electric set, Vest, sleeves, gloves, and pants liners.
I've had no problems using them on my '95 S2 or my '05 city-X.
If you do a lot of stop and go city driving it might put a drain on your battery since at idle your alternator isn't putting out much juice.

Art - Thanks!

That's all I'm looking for. I think our systems are the same output. Christmas is coming and I owe myself a gift or two!

California aint all warm. Our hundred mile hamburger run hits 7000 feet and it means it's about this |--------| cold : D
