Anyone tried this? I have no baffling/stuffing at all in my SS2R at the moment and the decel popping is hateful. I have some leftover header wrap in the garage...but I don't know if it'd be too restrictive? Thinking about pulling the core out of the can and just wrapping it in the header wrap, not the whole can.

I'll probably repack anyway, but thought maybe...since I have spare wrap and its not enough to do a header pipe with....

It will be louder,but the wrap will last and keep the packing from blowing out for a long time.
I do that on my two stroke pipes and also on my Buell Race Can. Works great....Charlie
