I noticed one slot is labeled "accessory".
Is this unused?
Is it for electric farkle toys and electric vest and driving lights and espresso machine?

Or am I misunderstanding the label?

Yep.Two of them for the starter interlock.
They're black, about the same size as a fuse and are directional with a white arrow on top. Ref.page 7-12 of the 1999 X1 service manual,or part of the starter interlock safety switch

Cool.
I was hoping to use it for some sweet driving lights.
I don't like those in-line fuses.
Looks like I still have to run a separate line from the battery so I don't fry the ignition switch.

Love the HID thing but these lights I got were less than $20 : )
I just have to find some sort of clamp that will fit the fork tubes now.

Hey,
How does one wire into the fuse box? Are the leads already there or do you need to bring wire all the way in? Are there terminals or is it a soldering job?

Matt

I personally would solder it since that's what I do for a living anyways.
I don't trust crimp-ons at all.
