just wanted to ask, what do you think my 2000 x1 lightning is worth? it has right at 2500mi. excellent shape except for wear on the chin faring from a cable. the place i work for has decided to roll out a new labor strategy and i will be losing about 250$ a week. i have to do something and this is not a necessity so it will probably have to go.

Jobs are plentiful right now and I would really look into why you have to take a pay cut in your particular occupation.

To answer your question though, a nice X1 in stock condition with low miles, I would say between 3750-4500.

I would get rid of my girlfriend before the bike. But if the bike HAS to go, in Iowa I guess about 4K is a good starting point. Definitely think it over.

for my area i have the highest paying position, hourly. they are cutting everyones overtime. i could go to a different place and make less hourly and get overtime only to end up with the same ammount. and if i had a girl or wife things would be different because they would get a second job to make up for it.

If you ride it to work, it's a 'necessity'

Prices here in Denver vary widely. Last month asking prices were in the $3000 range this month $5200 -- Let me know if you are going to let someone steal it. One of my buds (hairless bueller) sold his S3 about 4 years ago and is itching to get another Buell if he can find a good one at a good price --
