im looking to buy a universal steering damper and not a storz due to money issues. these universal units have 330mm overall length, and 110mm of piston travel. will this work on my buell? also can anyone confirm that the forks on my X1 are 54mm and what the frame size is?

Okay, I measured about 85mm of stroke at the lower triple give or take...

The smaller tube, thats V's down in front of the oil filter, is 20mm

The thicker tube, that flows back at approx 45* from the neck, 29mm

Those are with the powder coat..

And yes, the fork tuber are 54mm
