I got some yellow Pro Series ones "extra" that I bought offn eBay by mistake, they don't fit my M2, I think they fit X1s. You didn't specify what color, and your profile doesn't help, but if you're interested, I will dig them out. I know I paid just over half what Iron Machine is asking, I would sell them for what I paid for them. | ||

I wouldnt use auto parts store plug wires on any motorcycle. Only use ones that are designed for the bike, in the aftermarket world use only what has been proven to not cause problems. | ||

How would anybody know what has been proven not to cause problems? It's not like there's a master database somewhere. This web-site is about the closest thing, and there's sometimes big difference of opinion here. Dtmcnamara, can you post or link to any dyno chart showing these wires helped? I can't find one on-line, only "hearsay" type stuff, or else where several things were changed at once, not just the wires. I know I read someplace, that was less than enthusiastic about these, but I can't find any 'scientific' data. That's a lot of dough for 20" of wire, like $4 an inch. Matt, mailing the yellow wires today at lunch time. | ||

$81 for two sparkplug wires? I had never heard of these wires.... http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/hoforha.html Theoretically, on a stock engine, just increasing the voltage to the sparkplug doesn't necessarily mean it makes a difference in power. Once the mixture is lit, it's lit and the flame front takes over from there. But if the stock ignition is compromised because of a compression increase or a change in squish and combustion chamber turbulence (or an extremely lean mixture), I can see where these wires would probably help. If the engine doesn't need it though, you'll just wear out sparkplug electrodes faster. They are some nifty wires, though. I'd love to see a dyno test on them. | ||

Oh, and everyone knows the blue Pro Series wires make more power than the yellow ones. |
