I need to replace the bars on my S1W.
I like the looks of the Crossroads but think they may be too low(no track days just around town riding). Any suggestions for bars that are a little different than stock but not as extreme as the crossroads?
Any pics?

Tim

Wow, I hadn't priced handlebars lately.

Does +/- $90 seem high to anybody else, or is just me?

I go to the rack of 7/8 dirt bike bars at the local UJM shop and can get bars between 10 to 30$....

One of the most popular bars in Europe is the LSL A01 Streetfighter bars. They come anodized in various colors and all original cable lengths fit. I think you can see the blue ones in the pic on my profile. They are sold in the US by Spiegler (see link) and run around $80 including shipping.

Thanks for the replies.
Buelltours The blue anodized sounds nice but when I went to the link they are kind of vague with the description. Which set are you using on your bike?

Cecil, I have the 7degree down angled crossroads and don't do any track riding..Just around town and to Buell events..LOL

I rode 300 miles one day with them and it wasn't too bad...Check my profile pic and you'll see them. They come with 0degree down angle as well.

Tim,

I use the LSL A01, which fits perfectly. There is a A03 also, but I think it is too wide. I agree, the website does not tell you much at all. Just call those guys in Dayton. They are very competent.

I had the crossroads bars on my S1W for a bit, 7 degree down. Changed them for a zero degree down Buell set and LOVE them. The reach is comfortable and the position is great around town or in the twisties. The seven degree bars just put a weird load on my wrists, but the flat ones are great.

I ordered the A01's in blue. When I measured them they were about 2.5 inches wider than the stock ones.
They look great and the quick ride I took with them felt real good. Now time to go hit some twisties and see how they feel.
Thanks for the link

Brinnutz- Sweet ride.
Did you cut those bars any, or trim the flyscreen?

Nope, all I did was bore out the original clamps bolt hole so I could still mount everything like it was. =)
