You might pull your petcock off to make certain your strainer is still there... I discovered mine was absent after the float valve stuck open twice. I fashioned a little heat shield for the filter since it is in the "blast zone" for heat off the motor. Hopefully replacing the strainer in the intake tube soon... JJJ
