If I put a gas tank from a '97 Cyclone on my 2001 Cyclone to get rid of the large Manta tank what seat can I swap my Low 2001 M2 seat out for? I know the older S1 seats and older M2 seats will fit but do I have any other options or do I have to swap the tail section too? | ||

In order to use the 98' and back Cyclone seat on a 99' and newer Cyclone, you need the early style tail section as well. The manta tank can be used with the old tail section without fitment problems, but the old style tank matched up with the new style tail section will create a huge gap where the tank and seat meet. All years of cyclone bodywork will switch back and forth as long you have the appropriate pieces to go along with it. | ||

I was scared riding on the back of my husbands harley so he bought me the blast last year to learn to ride on. Now I have the Cyclone. He helps me work on the modifications, carb re-jetting, V&H slip on exhaust, and the Forcewinds intake. I've ordered a oil catch can for my next project. I just don't like the Manta tank size and the orange color of the bike so figured since the parts are so easy to swap why not. | ||

Thats great to hear. I wish more women would learn to ride. I have a few buddies wives that ride and I trust them more than their hubbies!! Be safe. | ||
