I would love to have an 1125r sitting next to my X1, Like most of you I Love my old Buell and have some great memories associated with it.

I want to believe that the steel tube frame bikes are an important part of the co's history, starting from the

"Battle Twin" & "West Wind" machines
Through the S2 M2 S1 & X1

I want to believe that the Tubers are a "Piece of history of BMC" and that Fans and riders alike will see them that way,

In the end its what you like, and Mine is just a bout the way I want it.

It's with a heavy heart that I'll be putting a For Sale sign on my 1998 S3T. It was my first Buell (purchased new) and has been a steady companion for the past 9 years. But it's also time to move on.

Much like Steve's vision, I need a more modern and reliable version of the S3T. It may cost a few more $$ but I have a vision of an 1125st. Hopefully it will come to fruition by the end of next summer.

In the meantime, wish me a little luck in selling the S3T. She deserves a good home.

Oh yeah...there will still be a tuber in the stable: )

hopefully things will keep on going good up here so when i get everygthing straightened out with the house i could end up with a new 11 and as far as the cyclone is concerned it will still be my #3 love.(wife,83fxrt) in that order in case the wife is lurking around.

Hopefully that will put the tubers value up.

Brian, sorry I didn't get to meet you. Your M2 is just about the nicest I've seen.

Let's all bring our tubers to Homecoming next year. I'll bring my S1W.

The other advantage of the tubers is the fact that the insurance is a lot cheaper. I've been trying (sorta) to sell my 12R so that I can get another tuber, but it's so much fun I hate to part with it for the price I'll get.

The insurance will be the sticking point for me, I already have too many vehicles I'm paying insurance for. Even though our Iowa rates are quite a bit lower I'm guessing that the 1125's will be in the range of some of the other high priced bikes.
