My idiot light for my oil pressure no longer works. (when the bike's off) Where is that sensor located? So I can go jiggle some wires. | ||

Have you tried checking the bulb? The sensor is near the oil filter. BC Steve | ||

Look under the oil filter in front of the engine. Looks a bit like a flying saucer, for lack of a better term. The part number for the original is 26554-77, and the Accell equivalent is 03582. | ||

Thanks guys. It worked intermittently over the past couple weeks, so I figured it was a loose connection. I'll wiggle some wires around first, then check the bulb, then test the sensor. | ||

check your wire. If it falls off, which they tend to do, it will leave the light off no matter the pressure. | ||

If you're on friendly terms with your soldering iron, all the 2007 HD bikes come OEM with LED indicator bulbs. ....hey, it could cut out one step of the troubleshooting process  | ||

Unhook the wire from the sending unit and touch it to ground. The light should come on. assuming it's the same as my ironhead. | ||

For the oil light, I'd check that the wire is plugged into the sensor (ask me how I know about that!) For any of the dash lights, just remember they burn out from time to time. |
