Does anyone have the heatshield thingie for a 2002 M2 they want to part with, including hardware? Mine was removed by the DPO and I do like the naked look but it's cooking my leg some and it's only April. I want to wrap the headers but I'm going to wait until I install an aftermarket exhaust but may not even do that this season.

Why wait to wrap? It took me all of 1.5 hours start to finish to wrap my S1W header...and that included a couple beverages when my hands got tired, LOL. Best upgrade so far, I can't even feel the heat thru my jeans.

I've got a spare right side heat shield, minus hardware. That shouldn't be a problem, as you can cob something together from the hardware store. PM me for details.

Ratbuell did you wrap yours while still on the bike I'm assuming? Just wondering, I was thinking about doing the same but I didn't want to fool with removing the pipe. If so, any tips you can pass along?

Thanks
