Finally ready to ride for the season. I thought I'd share my winter project which was, along with some new Conti's and regular maintenance, to install a new Airtech "Manta" rear tail and seat. I know that full faired bikes are not everyone's cup of tea but I have always liked them as sport bikes. Combining the best of Buell's attributes, excellant handling, torquey motor, and ease of maintenance with the full faired look of the European bikes, such as Ducati and other Japanese bikes is what I was looking for. Although no bike is ever "complete" I'm satisfied with what I have now and I think I'll just go ride it for a while.

That is one classy looking ride Bob. All the way down to the gold accent on the rims.

That tail looks real nice with the fairings you've got. Those conti's are a nice riding tire aren't they?

-Mike

p.s. I'm off the weekend of April 9th if you and Dbird would like to get together for a mellow spring ride?

Cool, always liked the comfort of a full fairing.

Mike, I'm always up for a ride and go most weekends. I especially like Sunday after about 10:30 or so. I doubt East canyon will be open but we can go somewhere. Give me a ping on my e-mail and we can make arrangments for whatever day is good for all. Thanks everyone for the fine comments. Bob

Bob,

Who made the fairing? I have an Air tech GP that I removed but yours causes me to re evaluate the fairing vs naked look

Es and Chase, the fairing is indeed RF Suzuki but the tail section is made specifically for a Buell M2. A new item from Airtech this year.

Looks great, although it really bothers me how high that fender sits over the tire!
