That's really cool.
They even have the updated mount.

Smokin' deal!

Can anyone give me a summary of the shocks that would fit my S2? Do I understand that some require a change in the mounting block? Were there different lengths that depend on which mounting block or shock eye is used. I'd like to get in on an eBay shock if I could figure out which would fit.
I'm sure someone has already posted all this and I've tried to search it. Point me in the right direction?

Eric, early WP(stocker) and the first replacement Showas were a longer shock, the second gen replacement Showas were shorter and required a different front mount to move the mounting eye back. The shock on your bike was redone just before you got the bike by Aftershocks in Palo Alto,CA.
Look at the front mount and if the eye is almost in line with the 2 attaching bolts its and old style, newer one has eye well to rear of the 2 mounting bolts.

Thanks Jim. I remember that you'd said it was recently rebuilt. I've been riding with a passenger lately and find that it's bottoming out sometimes at full preload. Maybe just have to have one of us cut back on the beer. LOL. But also just thinking about stocking up on on things that might wear out now that the finances are getting better.
