Author Message   Chasespeed Posted on Friday, February 09, 2007 - 10:17 pm:        Well, got the engine back to gether for the most part today(had to stop to pick the g/f up from work). The rocker boxes are next, the throttle body, etc... I need to things, but other than that, she will be fired off tomorrow, well, would be... Need the O-ring/gasket that goes between the lower, and mid rocker box... Oh yeah, and a fuel pump.... but, hopefully that will be solved here soon... I NEED TO RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, cant wait to fire this pig off... these comectic gaskets are great... much better to instal than the originals... Hopefully, it wont leak, or anything..... A couple more gaskets(Hopefully I can kiss enough but tonight, and Tiff will gimme some money tomorrow Oh well, just happy, its almost done... BUT, its looking like a motorcycle again... The tail is back on, and all the wiring is done, just need to zip tie everything back into place... Oh yeah, checked the oil pump drive gear, and looks BRAND NEW..so, no worries there. Found a few more leaks I didnt know about... Anyway, I know my new fuel pump(thanks ALOT Joe), shoudl be here early next week.. So, now, to snag a couple new plugs, and a bunch of oil... hopefully be broken in by this coming weekend... Chase   Rum_runner Posted on Sunday, February 11, 2007 - 08:28 am:        Chase next week mine starts getting torn down and the fun begins make sure you get some pics of your bike posted your bike is bada$$.   Oldog Posted on Sunday, February 11, 2007 - 10:10 am:        mine is back together finally 6 wks later pc the wheels and tail, new wheel brgs, total brake redo, bushings in the foot controls, repack muffler, remove spring plate from clutch pack, re grease head bearings, replace front iso, race ecm idle was erratic and may have been cables seems to run a little hotter. clean up today and a ride, I hope that from here till done its just adjustments. any one know what the allowable brake disk runout is ( side to side )
