Hey Wolf...you're not too far from me. I saw a guy on a KLR with studded tires the other day. I've been tempted to try that with my wife's Blast: D: D

Winter Rocks in Australia! well in Queensland anyways.
No snow! gets cold but still bearable.
And your bike runs nice and crisp from the cold dense air.
Temp here at the moment is in the 30's C, air-con running all day.
Sorry you guys don't get to ride all year round guess you'll have to go and do some mods to your bikes for spring time.

Cheers
Jodie

I rode well past Turkey-day!!!In Wisconsin thats a LONG riding season!! The frosty over passes finally drove my M2 into hibernation, but I have plenty of winter projects planned. Since when does Orlando get cold??

every time dave comes to town, it was supposed to get down to the 30's last night but our temp gage on the car around 10:30 said it was 45 degrees and for us transplants that have lived down here for quite a while that is freaking cooooold. unless you have heated gloves and vest and such. which i don't

Rode in to work this am for the first time in a couple weeks (we've had about a week of on and off ice/sleet/snow/rain showers). Just under 20º, not too bad outside of frozen fingertips. The biggest problem seems to be keeping my visor from fogging up. Still, it's nice to get back on the bike!

We beat the the winter blues by putting some sheet metal screws in the tires of my brothers quad and taking it out on the Lamprey River here in new Hampshire...

anyone who says your blood doesn't thin out and you can't tell the difference is lying. i was born and raised in the pitts, pa area and i get cold anymore at any thing under 70, which is leather weather to me. the coldest i've ridden in was when i thought i'd pop to see my brother's in huntsville when i was working in pennsacola. it was pretty nice the first and second day but then the temp dropped about 30 degrees it seemed like and i had to get started for home that morning. i had icecicles hanging from my beard and mustache i had at the time. the temp guage wasn't even reading anything on the ultra. there are some people that won't ride if it get's under 60 down here.

The worst I've ever experienced was 20 below ( celsius ), I was riding a Norton 850 Commando on my way from Normandy to the center of France, 350 miles of sheer nightmare, well, I was pretty young.

Anyway, I love winter, the more I wait for a ride, the more I love my S2.

Well guys, I live in a little place called Tom Price in the north of Western Australia. I did a 160 km (100 miles to you guys) round trip to another little place called Paraburdoo. It hit 45 degrees today. That's celsius not fahrenheit !!!
Let's say about 120 of your degrees. The X1 loves it, but i think I might have to fit an oil cooler.

Forcast for today in Tomah...High of 2 low of -13 and it will feel like -35 with the wind chill. Lots of stuff closed today. Sucks just coming home from Nevada 3 days ago. It was in the upper 60's the whole time I was there and the lowest it got down to was about 45. Guess I should just live there during the Winter and live here during the summer. That would be perfect.

I was at the IMS in Minneapolis, the doors on my Jeep froze shut. I had to crawl in thru the back to start the engine. The high on Saturday was -16F. All those sparkely new bikes and no place to ride. The new TT looks awesome!! Visions of twisties racing thru my head. Is it spring yet?
