Does anyone know where I can find the upgraded Buell Seat for the 2002 X1W or a nice custom seat like a Corbin? I have been looking since 2003. Thank you!!!!

Found mine on ebay ($150) the seat with the little pegasus on it, much more padded than stock.

a cheaper (and probably better) solution is to take your seat to a custom upholstery shop. most are capable of customizing a seat using your existing platform. I had mine done in leather for $50

I am really looking for a Corbin or a Buell Original (with the little Pegasus on it). I am not looking for cheap, so much as I want a new seat. $50 for a leather upgrade.. not around where I live. I would pay $300 to $400 for a good seat for my X1W. Thanks, but still looking. I sent a seat to Gator Custom Seats and it has been well over 1 year with no return calls.

Thanks... but still looking for a Corbin or a Buell X1W upgrade.

X1, I have an upholstry guy next to my shop, I am sure he can cut a deal, making it better, AND embroider a pegasus on there.. He does bike seats all the time..

Hold out for the Factory seat with the logo, I've bought two corbin seats for two different bikes and both were very uncomfortable, way over priced, and Corbin customer service is at the bottom of the barrel!!! My friend also ordered a corbin and ended up selling it as well. I have the seat with the logo on my S1 and it's great! Hope this helps.

Since this post started, this is what I've decided to do and I recommend you do the same. I'm going to take my corbin seat to the upholstry shop and have more padding and black leather rapping it. I rode to the liberty open house,(awesome day, weather could have been better)and my butt was so numb. Hope I could help.

That all depends on if you are looking for style, performance, or comfort or all above.

I don't know all whole lot of all the optional seats for the x1...I have tried out a few, then decided I could make one and save a lot of cake ... Buy one off ebay for under dealer prices and carefully carve it and presto

It is more comfortable than it looks, and It allows me to hang and shift my weight very well.

and it just looks plain awesome! I'm giving myself 5 stars "I demand it"

thank you
