Just looking for some input from people who have used this shifter. I picked up the arm but not the foot peg. I don't want my weight on the suspended drive train at the point. I was wondering if anybody had relocated their foot pegs forward to properly engage the shifter and if so how they did it. This shifter is on my 96 S1. Photo would help if available. I have a plan but I need more information to evaluate my solution.

Bad-K,
I have the Storz shifter on both my bikes,but the foot peg location didn't change(on the XBR I have the X1 pegs & the M2 I moved the pegs up and back about 1 1/2 inches)but I have a big foot(14)...Charlie

Thanks for responding, I had read your remarks earlier. My size twelves are about 1.5 inches too short to make contact.

Bad-K,
I have a "bum" left ankle with limited movement,so I use the "reverse shift pattern" and do a lot of my shifting off the peg.I use a wedge style boot,so movement isn't a problem. You just have to find what works best for you.........Charlie
