I found a race ecm for a '99 and newer bikes real cheap. So my question is... will it work on my '97 Cyclone?
Thanks for the help!

ECM is for fuel injected (some but not all '99 and newer).
97 = carb.
Won't do anything for ya!

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

Ya, I know that on the older bikes the race ECM let the R.P.M.'s go higher than stock. Didn't really think about the injection on the newer bikes.

Thanks

The difference is there is a Race Ignition Module for the carb bikes and a Race ECM for the fuellies.

Thanx all!
