Hello, I am hoping you guys can help. As the subject title states, the plugs are fouling after a 100 miles or so. After replacing the plugs the bike runs great until I get another 100 miles. The forcewinder has been cleaned, never run out of gas, so I don't think it needs any resets. It seems to only happen @ 3,000 RPM and around 55-60 MPH. The bike will buck and run real rough. The tach and the speedo never move to give any indication that something is wrong. No check engine light has ever come on. The hitch is it is intermittent. Damn thing won't do it all the time, so it's hard to diagnose. It's at the local dealer right now. They want me to bring in my stock ECM 'cuz they say the Race ECM will cause fouled plugs. I questioned why it would just start now, after having run flawlessly for 10,000 mi. with the race ECM in the whole time. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

Doug,
replace your Engine Temp sensor if, that doesn't fix it, the O2 sensor is next. A bosch 12014 will replace the O2 sensor.

On my 01 the ET sensor died without throwing a code. The interval to plug fouling shortens as the sensor dies.

Its an easy fix, cost is around 40.00 for the ET sensor and 30 for the Bosch O2 sensor

Another possibility would be the TPS. The ground wire at the TPS broke on my bike right at the switch and it coughed and sputtered sometimes and ran perfect other times. No codes for that either. I sorta think the race ecu is really loathe to turn that CEL on for some reason.
