I have a friend with an HD XL 1200 and he swears that the hypercharger has unleashed the horse power in his 1200.He says that the hypercharger was the most noticable horsepower increase of anything he did. Any experience from anybody with a Buell and Hyperchargers???? thanks for the input...

Not speaking from experience but I've heard that they may be the WORST thing for a Buell. These bikes prefer a "still air" intake as opposed the the forced air of the Hypercharger.

You should be able to find some Dyno results in the KV.

BTW....I run a Buell Race aircleaner on my S1W and an S&S aircleaner on my S3T.

as long as you run the pro with the taller filter, it works great, no dyno runs to prove that but BattleTwin magazine did some and it was at least as good as all others in most rpm ranges and better than some.

If you want even more horse power get this instead you will get better air flow to the intake. I have one on my bike and it is awesome check out the picture. The hypercharger is nice but i think its more for looks than performance compared to the one on my bike. The best part my knee doesn't even come close to touching it and i'm 6' 3' with a 34" inseam.

I always wondered about how much water you'd suck in(if one were caught in the rain)with one of those things.

Didn't the K V results show that the Stock air box with K&N and short velocity stack make the Most power on carb equipped Buells?

I have had two 1200 both have had the hyper charge on when I bought them. Have had no promblems with them at all. As for dyno's have never had the money or the time to invest.

I ran a kuryakyn on my '95 S2 for a few years. It does feel like there is more power, but I got more horsepower when I switched to a forcewinder.

American Sportbike They have it. It cost about $30 more but well worth it.

And as for the question about the rain. I have been caught in the rain a couple of times and one was a down pour and had no problems.
