I am looking for advice on replacement belts for my S2. Which is the longest lasting belt?? The aramid-reinforced Goodyear® Hibrex® belt with Flexten® Plus is what is used on the new XBs. Which manufacturer is the best,, have had some problems with the Gates belts on my soft tail HD in the past, so am wary of them,,any opinions???? thanks ron..

What Brad said. The latest model XB belt is supposed to be the cats meow.

Check out our sponsors page-- Al Lighton at American Sportbike or Dave S. at Appleton will be more than willing to help out.
In defense of the S-2's belts ,I had over 65,000 on mine before changing it. And that was purely because it was going to Bonneville and I wanted to be absolutely sure of it. The one on my bike now survived a couple trips to the Salt and some fairly serious dyno runs (177 HP).
