Author Message   Firedude Posted on Monday, August 14, 2006 - 08:48 pm:        Since I bought my 99 X-1...and have spent about a grand upgrading/replacing the tires, ECM, exhaust, intake, CF parts, tank bag, and who knows what else. Since then, I've been pulled over twice; once for speeding, and the other for jackrabbiting from a light and as the officer said "the sound of your bike will scare all of the old folks around here". No tickets yet (thanks to the PD offering a little professional courtesy to us firemen. the bike has been a real kick in the pants. Love parking it next to all of the Harley that have half the power & weigh twice as much and seeing their faces... Need to give all of you a big hearty THANKS for all of the help & direction that you have provided, and giving me something to read while I'm at work eh.... working.
