I have installed a Banke shift linkage for my 2001 M2 and I can't believe how much better this bike shifts now. The original linkage was not bound up or anything like that, but it was a big pain in the butt to shift. Like shifting through a nearly frozen gob of molassis. If there is anyone who has been dealing with this problem, and wondering if something will help, they should really check this Banke shift linkage out. I took my bike out today to try the new shifter out, and half way through my trip I saw that the speedometer/tripmeter is no longer working. Looks like I need to get the improved speedo sensor? The bike has around 2850 miles on it now. Anyway, I can't put into words just how much better this bike is now to shift!!! | ||

I really like my Banke too. They're great to deal with, you can get every part individually if you need to. I didn't have any problems with my updated linkage, but neutral is easier to find and I have fewer missed shifts with the Banke. Staring at the clutch right now, I'm about to pull it out and update some parts in the primary. I don't want any missed shifts. I think the speedo is pretty easy to figure out. | ||

Benke is worth the money! I've had mine for a year and still appreciate how nice it shifts! |
