Why does Harley install paper gaskets in new motors that start leaking soon after.

This is 2006 and they have been doing this for too long. Is it still being done?

My sentiments exactly. I suppose they want you to forma relationship with the dealer or with your toolbox. I just picked up a set of rocker box metal gaskets. With the rain we are expecting this week I will get them in.
