Ok guys, I have searched and not come up with any substantial discussions on either clip-ons or the american sportbike clip-on style bars. My question is if I buy aftermarket bars will I have to switch out the hard brake line on my '97 M2 that runs down to the top of the fork brace? And for clip-ons aside from switching out the headlight bucket mounts what else is involved in changing bars?

I used the american sportbike bars and am very happy with them. I should have changed out my brake line, but was able to bend the stock ones just enough to work. Probably not a good idea and I have been planning on changing them out for about a year.
