I have a set of Tour Master Cortech Sport Saddle and Tail Bag combo. You can use
them seperate or all together. Nice setup... heck they're even modeled on an S2.

RKA tank bag, tailbag and saddlebags--combined as necessary. Had em for years and love em. Think my bike is still on RKA website as a model from 1996.

I'm a big fan of Chase Harper bags. They're not terribly fancy, but very well made (and I'm kinda particular about things like that ...). And they have a lifetime "no questions asked" warranty; something breaks and they fix or replace it. When I bought my tank bag (the 1501 Eurosport) I asked if the warranty covered crash damage as well - the answer was Yes.

The Eurosport is BIG, even if not expanded. But it has a great 4-point strap system, which I believe is an option on most of their tank bags.

I also own one of their Tail Trunks - the 4450 CHR Sport I believe. Again, very nice bag, good materials and great craftsmanship. The bag is supposed to mount using bungi cords built into the bag, but I usually strap it down over the top instead. It'd be nice if it was made to clip to their saddle bags like the Cortechs.

I've borrowed their Stealth saddle bags from a friend a few times and while it works, they're kinda hokey to pack, not waterproof without an extra cover and simply don't hold enough for a week of touring.

Speaking of waterproof; I would suggest bags that also have separate rain covers either included or as an option. Very few soft bags remain completely waterproof for long. A good cover can be treated and at some point replaced at much lower cost than the complete bag. Just a thought.

All that said, I've taken a serious look at the Cortech bags Eazy mentioned and like them a lot.

Fireman Jim swears by his RKA luggage. From what I saw 7 years ago it's good stuff and he still uses those bags, so that's a good indication right there.

I've also seen a few Wolfman bags and they seem well made as well.

And you'll find many more links here:

Hope that helped rather than confused you : )
