--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went up to okutama today. I was setting up for a right hand turn downshifted, heavy on front brake, light on rear. And bam! the rear end slides on me, i guess i hit some oil or something on the road, and the rear locked up, i couldn't use the front hard enough without sliding and slid into a curb. I think i broke my ankle, but im gonna wait till tomorrow before i run to the ER....well sree

Bike damage

Bent bars (crossroads bars on the way already as of 2 days ago)
Fender cratched to hell, front windscreen strached to hell, broke instrument bezel, bar end cap, and the end cap dug into my tank cover after that.
Im not happy, i just had it painted 2 months ago a custom setup, so its doen for. I also broke my shift lever so i was in 3rd the entire time way back....long ass clutch let out to start.

But im ok, ill take my waps test tomorrow and go to the hopital. and ill just take off my fender and windscreen, drill out the broken bolt on teh shift lever and put a new on in there and rebend out my shifter peg and it will be good as new.

I guess its a good time to get my XB lightning headlight and windscreen conversion and a CF tank and fender huh?

ALso if anyone is selling rearsets, front fender, adn tank cover it would be appreciated for a temp replacement, and stock mirrors.

thanks guys!

Lowsiding is better than highsiding. The only time I ever lay my bike down is after I get it painted.

I'm on my third paint job.
