Author Message   Barthautala Posted on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 - 08:53 am:        Ive got a 98 S1W and mistakingly bought a Vance and Hines muffler kit for a 98 S1. Well I forgot the headers were different and the collector is a different diameter so obviously what I bought doesnt fit. Is there a difference between the SS2R for a S1W vs the SS2R for a S1 of the same year other than the extension pipe from the collector to the muffler. Ive been checking out millions of pictures and the mufflers look the same but the extension pipe looks different. It looks flanged to accept the larger diameter collector on the S1W.
