I need to replace the fuel inlet fitting on my carb (stock). I noticed the other day when I had it running that it's leaking and has a crack in the plastic. How do I get the fuel inlet fitting off? Thought I'd ask before I get to far into it.

Pulls off but could require a tap to grab it if it breaks off flush...
Seen them in catalogs like J&P

When you replace it, try to get the brass fitting as opposed to the plastic fitting for the exact reason you a having. As an added bonus, I believe the brass fitting flows a little more than that plastic garbage too.

(Note to self:
Hit dealership on the way home to get a fitting;
back up truck after hitting dealership and check for damage;
go inside if nobody saw me hit the building and get a carb fuel inlet fitting;
leave before they see the wall plaster and my front bumper sitting in the parking lot.)

They are fairly cheap, I believe they are from the older carbs as the newer carbs come with the plastic fitting. This is just more FYI stuff.....
