Is there any way to cut down one of the Buell fuel tanks,(I have an S-1 tank right now) as I really need to get lower on my bike to get out of wind.Or do we have anyone capable of making a smaller tank,keeping the same/similar lines?Fuel capacity is not a real problem for me. | ||

Jim, add an XB swingarm and put gas in it...then you can eliminate the tank all together....ahahaha. REX Can you be at the april ASBN meeting and talk to us about your downunder trip? | ||

FMJ -- just a thought -- find a small Moon tank of adequate size, mount it on the frame -- cut the bottom and sides of the stock tank out to where it just clears the moon unit (gratuitous Zappa reference), and ya got more clearance for yourself and a good looking profile (the bike's, yer on your own for all else) |
